Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number when you subscribe to updates, request ticket notifications, or submit a partner or media inquiry. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address (stored only as a hashed value), browser type, the pages you visit, and referral source, through cookies and similar technologies.

When you reach the site through a link in one of our ads, emails, or campaigns, we also record basic attribution details, such as the campaign, source, and medium (commonly passed as "UTM" parameters), the page you landed on, and the site that referred you, so we can understand which promotions are working. We also keep a record of your marketing opt-in and opt-out choices, along with the date and the consent language shown to you.

How we use your information

We use your information to send the updates and notifications you request, respond to inquiries, operate and improve the site, measure marketing performance, and keep records of your communication preferences and consent. We only send marketing emails and text messages to people who have opted in.

Email & SMS marketing consent

When you opt in, you consent to receive marketing emails and, if you provide a phone number and check the SMS box, recurring automated marketing text messages from us. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase or attendance. Message and data rates may apply. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies to understand usage and measure promotions. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the site and send communications, including our database and file-storage provider (Supabase), our email delivery provider (Resend), our content management provider (Sanity), and our hosting provider (Vercel), and with event partners only where you have asked us to or as described at the point of collection. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Exhibitors & partners

If you register as an exhibitor or partner, additional business and contact details and any documents you upload are handled through our secure, invite-only Exhibitor Portal. That collection is described in our Exhibitor Portal Privacy Notice.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information. You can exercise these anytime on our opt-out & deletion page or by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we maintain a record of consent and opt-out actions. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
